In the Sphere of Silence
In his book, Vijay Eswaran suggests a practice that will help you tap into the quantum energy field to actualize your life's potential, rather than focusing all your efforts in the physical plane.
"In doing this practice," says Vijay, "we address the assault on our senses and the insanity that prevails around us. If we want to harness the power of the mind, we need to understand the value of silence: to touch it, dwell in it and draw upon it."
Born in Malaysia, Vijay belongs to a family of Indian origin. He learned the value of mouna or silence at a young age from his grandfather, for whom it was a way of life. A successful businessman at the helm of a global conglomerate, Vijay has been practicing the Sphere of Silence for the past eighteen years, and attributes much of his personal and professional success to it.
The practice is rooted in ancient Vedic concepts but is not oriented towards any one religion, as silence is universally practiced in one form or another by almost all faiths. The goal of being "in the Sphere of Silence" is to enable you to slow down and take stock of where you are and where you are headed.
Inspired by wisdom traditions from East and West, In the Sphere of Silence starts with statements from luminaries such as Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Goethe and Aristotle, gradually directing us to the place where we can connect with the un-sensed universe and leading us down the path to tap into this energetic force.
