Forgotten Ghosts: The Supernatural Anthologies of Hugh Lamb
The first in a series of Ash-Tree Press Occasional Booklets looks at the major contribution which anthologiser Hugh Lamb has made to the genre of the supernatural story. Beginning with his anthology A Tide of Terror' in 1972, Hugh rescued from obscurity many authors who are now acknowledged as masters of the genre. This card-covered booklet contains five of the rare stories he rescued in the early 1970s, and also includes a lengthy introduction by Mike Ashley in which he looks at, and assesses, Hugh's anthologies. There is also a complete listing of Hugh's books.
