Allah The Original Man: Scientific Testimony That The Black Man Is God
The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad was and is emphatic that “God is a man, and we justcannotmake Himother than a man, lest wemake Himan inferior one.” He makes clear that the masculine singular pronoun used in Scripture for God – He – is no loose or metaphorical language. He said:
This is all-wise use of a pronoun, calling Him, “He.” You feel pretty cheap calling Him “she”; you feel pretty cheap just to say, “spirit.” I am here to tell you that He is not a “she” or is He a formless spirit.... This is the day that I can gladly say that He is a “He.”
Such a bold teaching has disturbed the larger Muslim World from that day to this one, because this teaching flies in the face of the doctrine that has been entrenched in “Old Islam” for a thousand years now. As the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said:
The Muslims worship one God – Allah. “Say: He, Allah, is One God.” Yet 99% of the old world Muslims think that Allah is only a ‘Spirit’ and is not a man. Then they too need to be taught today the reality of Allah. Certainly, He is one God, but not a spirit, for a spirit cannot be said to be “one God.”
The ignorant belief of the Orthodox Muslims that Allah (God) is some formless something and yet He has an Interest in our affairs, can be condemned in no limit of time. I would not give two cents for that kind of God in which they believe.[4]
In 2025 we the Nation of Islam stand firm on this teaching of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. We unapologetically affirm it, and we can defend it as both trueand as true Islam.
